  • Submit the $1,000 program deposit and select your preferred  tuition payment plan.

• What happens after I enroll?

• Preparation for your summer abroad begins the minute you enroll in a Horizons Abroad experience. You will receive regular orientation information via emails with helpful tips on how to prepare, flights abroad, settling into your destination, your homestay, activities, classes abroad, and more.
  
  Parents receive all student orientation information via email as well. Horizons Abroad has flexible tuition payment options including paying in full for an additional discount, regular monthly payments, or the flexibility to pay at your own pace (with a final deadline of May 15, 2025.
  
  Emailed reminders with your updated tuition balance is sent to parents monthly. Please reference these emailed reminders when ready to make a payment. Don't hesitated to reach out to a Horizons Abroad Program Director at (888) 512-2470.

• What is the cancellation policy?

• If a student withdraws from the program for any reason prior to departure, a refund will be calculated by the following schedule:
  
  - Before February 1, full tuition except $500 is refundable
  - Before March 1, full tuition except $1000 is refundable
  - Before April 1, full tuition except $1500 is refundable
  - Before May 1, full tuition except $2000 is refundable
  - On or after May 1, tuition is 100% non-refundable
  
  Withdrawal from a program is effective on the date that written notification is received by Horizons Abroad. The cancellation and refund policy is in effect from the initial receipt of the student’s application and deposit, before he or she is even formally accepted into the program.
