Horizons Abroad offers two and four week immersion sessions that gives you the opportunity to not only experience the way of life in Málaga, but also other striking cities in Spain including Seville, Granada, Córdoba, and Madrid. Say "olé!" this summer and feel the passion of Spain come alive!

Morning Conversational Spanish Classes
On-level morning classes with an average class size of 7 students.
Classes are taught by full-time Spanish speaking faculty certified in teaching Spanish to study abroad students.
Build upon the skills you've developed in your high school classes at home and live in the Spanish language.
Fun and activity based. Designed to improve your confidence listening and speaking Spanish.
Experiential Activities & Excursions
Each session includes visits to Madrid, Costa del Sol, Seville, Granada, and more!
From tapas tours and visiting local museums, to surfing and coastal hikes - each afternoon offers something different.
Admission to museums as well as all group transportation while abroad is included in the program tuition.

Authentic Homestay Immersion
Go beyond traveling like a tourist and live like a local in a cosmopolitan Spanish city.
Living with a home-stay is the most authentic way to immerse yourself in the Spanish language and way of life.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with your home-stay is included.
Further develop your confidence speaking Spanish by continuously practicing with native speakers.

Support for your experience abroad begins the moment you enroll with personalized guidance and orientation materials.
The directors' job is to facilitate well-organized programs and offer student support - allowing you to have fun and live in the moment!
Director teams are a bi-lingual and bi-cultural mix of locals, Spanish teachers, and former study abroad students.
Each session is facilitated and led by a team of 2 - 3 on-site program directors.

Suggested International Flights
All sessions begin and end at Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD). Air travel is booked independently, and you are free to use miles, points, or any airline. You can choose to travel on flight itineraries that include the suggested flights listed below, or book travel on any flight that arrives to Madrid before 10:30 AM.
Suggested flights are likely to have others who you can meet before the program. All students, regardless of flying on a suggested flight, are in contact with a dedicated staff member who tracks flights on travel days and are met by a program director when they arrive abroad.
